One of the biggest reasons business in the offline world fail these days is that competition simply comes along and does it better.

In many cases, the competition does what they do but ONLINE and shortly after, are knocking it out of the park in terms of sales and revenue once they’ve nailed the system and who to market it to.

Everyone’s favourite video rental chain – Blockbuster – turning down the chance to buy Netflix in the early 2000s for $50million. That’s certainly not a small amount of money. But how much is Netflix now worth? A cool $20billion… (If only Netflix offered an affiliate programme!)

They can build systems and technology that deliver a product, refine it, then remove the need for expensive employees! Low overheads, huge profit.

This is exactly why the opportunity to make money online is becoming the obvious choice for budding entrepreneurs and anyone wanting to scale their existing business or product into a much healthier revenue stream. The technology is there, you just need to learn how to use it.

Whether you like it or not, the world of all things digital is something we should all be at least aware of beginning to master on some level.
