Whilst digging around for ways and means of getting this ball rolling, I’ve often found myself asking,
what exactly is an ‘entrepreneur’?
All I know is, I’ve read some books by some fairly successful ones and they seem to have several traits in common.
It’s reassuring to know that you don’t necessarily have to have already proven yourself to be ‘successful’ (another term that will differ in definition from individual to individual) or a Dragons Den dragon to feel that you’re taking some steps to meet the definition. 20+hours a week around my current job and diet of Pringles surely meet some peripheral criteria?!
The [online] Oxford Dictionary says:
noun: a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit
I’m still reading up on various schools of thought but found it interesting to note both some definitions and memorable quotes by those who have walked the walk.
My personal choice for 2014:
Mindset as demonstrated by Mr Ford is by far one of the biggest focuses of my experiences thus far with the SFM. To see for yourself and start channelling YOUR inner entrepreneur, click HERE
And some other motivational snippets. Easy to get carried away on a wave of enthusiasm but here endeth today’s sermon. Food for thought…
“Action is the bridge between your vision and results. Action involves figuring out how to get from where you are now to where you want to be. Without action there would be no results” – – Peter Jones
