At the end of 2013, having returned home from overseas to be with family after a bereavement, I didn’t like that I was facing the reality of having to get a normal job again. Back to the rat race. I didn’t like it at all.

So I looked for something better. I had no idea what it was going to be but I knew I wanted to work online for the freedom it would undoubtedly give me if – God forbid – I was ever in a similar situation again.

Once I started actually looking for it and doing some research, I stumbled across a blog post written by a SFM affiliate and, as they say, the rest is history (that is so cliche but it’s true!). It was EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Why am I telling you this?

Today’s post is a very simple message and something I spotted fellow SFM member Steve Greenhalgh (he is one of my favourites but don’t tell him I said that!) sharing recently. There’s plenty of more complex, profound sounding quotes out there that give the same message. But, like Steve, I love the simplicity of this infographic…

If you have got as far as discovering this blog, you have a fair degree of intelligence and ability to make informed decisions.

If you’re not going to do anything about the things you’re unhappy about, please shut up whinging about them and move along! Nothing to see here. Likewise closed-minds and cynics – please keep walking.

But if you are here, it’s likely something to do with financial or time freedom and the restrictions you feel you are constantly under in regard to both.

So, if you want to make some changes in your life, please do so HERE
